Fox Engine Lighting Demo: Reality vs Graphics
Today, the Kojima Productions GDC recruitment page has been updated with a sample of the lighting the Fox Engine is able to pull off. To demonstrate, three photos of the Kojima Productions meeting room were posted, and recreated using the Fox Engine. The page challenges you to find out which one is real and which one computer graphics.
If you click on the screen, the answer to the question is revealed, as well as some additional screenshots:
As the text says, these are to demonstrate that dynamic movable objects will blend in with the environment as well.



Not bad, but of no use on the current hardware (PS360). We saw something very similar from Square a while ago.
Even more info to show next-gen is coming… can’t wait to see this all in action on WiiU/neXtBox/PS4.
